Girish Karnad is one of the greatest Indo Anglican dramatists. He has basically written in Kannad. Some of his plays have been translated into English by himself. Karnad has a long and eventful career. He has only three notable plays to his credit. They gave him a prestigious place. 'Tughlaq' is considered as his most famous work.         'Tughlaq is the second play of Karnad. It is indeed a historical play written in the backdrop of modern times, the period of J. L. Nehru. Reflective blog upon interaction with Dr. Jay Mehta.. Dr. Jay Mehta was invited on 14th January 2019, at the Department of English, MKBU; for construct a base of “Mass Communication and Mass Media”. He gave us introductory information about all Mass Media. Starting from the Print Media, Radio, Television, Advertisements, Cinema, to the E – Media. He taught us how all these started and how they all have bring major changes in society and after that in people. At starting point of every Mass Media Platform there was a negative response to it. On 14th March we have seen one Documentary "Rivers and Tides" at dept. Of English. Rivers and Tides is a documentary film by Thomas Riedelsheimer(2001) Andy Goldsworthy a great artist and able to see his art with deep insight or philosophy. "Rivers and Tides" offers a rare glimpse of the creations of Andy Goldsworthy. The theme of this short documentary is "Transitory nature of art and life". Everything which is created is destroyed by nature after some period of time. Birth and death is the truth of nature. History is called macro narratives while memory is called micro narratives means it is personal one. Memory is "unreliable" and there is always great unrest in history.
